ZACH MAURER, B.SC.
PRESIDENT & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Zach holds a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Regina and is currently leading graduate research on lithium hydrochemistry in the Williston Basin at the University of Regina. Zach also obtained a Diploma in Exploration Information Technology from the South Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). He gained fundamental experience in Saskatchewan’s energy sector from 2009 to 2015 working with well servicing and construction companies prior to his career in geoscience consulting. As a geoscientist, he managed projects in environmental site monitoring and site closure from 2016 to 2019.
DR. IAN IRELAND, PH.D.
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Ian holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Alberta. He has over 20 years of industrial experience in fields ranging from ultra high sensitivity analysis of biomolecules, large scale organic synthesis and GMP manufacture of cancer vaccines, bioremediation, environmental consulting, waste to energy systems and industrial wastewater treatment. He has particular expertise in analytical chemistry, as well as product, technology and process development. In his capacity as lead scientist and corporate officer, he has successfully developed technologies from lab scale to commercial deployment for industrial applications.
CLAUDIA SAMAYOA, CPA, CA
CHIEF FINANICAL OFFICER
Claudia holds a B.B.A. with a major in Accounting from the University of Regina. She began her career in 2009 working at KPMG as an articling accountant, later transitioning into construction and real estate finance where she earned her Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation. In addition to her career in finance, Claudia co-founded CrossFit Iron Society and serves on the Board of Directors for YWCA as the Audit & Finance Chair.

After 15 years working in the Williston Basin, Isobrine has created an extensive proprietary database of water chemistry for the basin. Isobrine offers in-house laboratory analyses of formation-waters, including stable isotopes, for a wide range of exploration, development, and remediation applications in the oil & gas, resource, and environmental sectors.
