ZACH MAURER, B.SC.
PRESIDENT & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Zach holds a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Regina and is currently leading graduate research on lithium hydrochemistry in the Williston Basin at the University of Regina. Zach also obtained a Diploma in Exploration Information Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). He gained fundamental experience in Saskatchewan’s energy sector from 2009 to 2015 working with well servicing and construction companies prior to his career in geoscience consulting. As a geoscientist, he managed projects in environmental site monitoring and site closure from 2016 to 2019.
DR. IAN IRELAND, PH.D.
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Ian holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Alberta. He has over 20 years of industrial experience in fields ranging from ultra high sensitivity analysis of biomolecules, large scale organic synthesis and GMP manufacture of cancer vaccines, bioremediation, environmental consulting, waste to energy systems and industrial wastewater treatment. He has particular expertise in analytical chemistry, as well as product, technology and process development. In his capacity as lead scientist and corporate officer, he has successfully developed technologies from lab scale to commercial deployment for industrial applications.
JORDAN ALBERTON, B.SC., P.ENG.
Jordan holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan and obtained a Certificate of Achievement in Applied Project Management from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). She started her career in the energy sector working on production enhancement for a well servicing company throughout southern Saskatchewan and Manitoba. She later transitioned into quality and project management with a focus on large infrastructure projects. She is ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certified and is registered as a Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS).
Rylan has 14 years of experience in Western Canada’s energy sector. Throughout his career, Rylan was responsible for executing innovative drilling programs for resource development across Saskatchewan and Alberta. Rylan is mechanically inclined with a proven track record of executing high level field projects. Rylan’s ability to visualize, implement and manage is an asset to Prairie Lithium’s process development.

PRESIDENT, CROSS BORDERS DRILLING
Jared is the President of Cross Borders Drilling, a company that he founded in 2005. Cross Borders originally served as a consulting group to the Chinese government in heavy shale oil exploration in rural China. Cross Borders operates one of the largest drilling rig fleets in Western Canada. Jared has developed many drilling technologies that are currently applied throughout oil sands, potash, uranium, coal and traditional oil & gas drilling. Jared has continually managed and delivered operational projects in excess of $100 million.
WAYNE PAPROSKI, CPA, CA
Wayne is a Tax Partner with MNP where he has practiced for 20 years with a specialty in domestic taxation. Wayne has spent the past 13 years working closely with private oil and gas service and production companies in Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba and has served as a director for E&P companies and oilfield service companies. Wayne holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan and is a Chartered Professional Accountant, as well as a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Saskatchewan, the Institute of Corporate Directors and the Canadian Tax Foundation.
ARNFINN PRUGGER, PH.D., P.GEO
GEOPHYSICIST, PRUGGER INNOVATIONS
Arnfinn currently serves as the Board Chair of the International Minerals Innovation Institute and is the President of Prugger Innovations. Arnfinn spent most of his career at PotashCorp (now Nutrien), starting as Mine Geophysicist and working his way up to end his career there as Vice President, Potash Technical Services. During his time at PotashCorp, Arnfinn held Board seats at the Saskatchewan Potash Producers Association and Sociedad Quimica y Minera de Chile S. A. (SQM), a major lithium mining company with operations in South America and Australia. Arnfinn is a past Distinguished Lecturer for the Canadian Institute of Mining (CIM) and he holds a Ph.D. in Geophysics from the University of Saskatchewan.
Isobrine specializes in isotopic fingerprinting of formation-waters. After 15 years working in the Williston Basin, Isobrine has created an extensive proprietary database of water chemistry for the basin. Isobrine offers in-house laboratory analyses of formation-waters, including stable isotopes, for a wide range of exploration, development, and remediation applications in the oil & gas, resource, and environmental sectors.
LiEP Energy is a Canadian lithium conversion company that has developed an electrochemical process that selectively extracts lithium from solution to produce lithium hydroxide.
